The Process

Our Step-by-Step Making Process

  1. Material Selection We start by carefully selecting high-quality polymer clay in a variety of vibrant colors. This clay serves as the primary medium for our creations, allowing us to sculpt intricate designs and patterns. Polymer clay art jewellery is made using a versatile and pliable material called polymer clay.

  2. Design Inspiration Our talented artist Madhushree Nandi, draws inspiration from a myriad of sources, including nature, culture, and art. Each design is meticulously planned to ensure that it reflects our vision and resonates with our customers.

  3. Conditioning the ClayBefore we can begin sculpting, the polymer clay must be properly conditioned. This involves kneading the clay until it becomes soft, pliable, and free from air bubbles. Conditioning ensures that the clay is easy to work with and maintains its shape during the sculpting process.

  4. Sculpting and ShapingWith the clay prepared, our artisans use a combination of hands and tools to sculpt and shape it into the desired forms. Whether it's delicate flowers, or intricate patterns, each piece is carefully crafted with attention to detail. The designs are then laid out in high-quality metallic jewellery bezel frames of ethnic and modern shapes.

  5. Adding DetailsOnce the basic shapes are formed, we add intricate details to enhance the beauty of the design. This might include carving patterns, layering different colors of clay, or adding texture to create depth and dimension.

  6. Baking ProcessAfter the sculpting and detailing are complete, the jewelry components are carefully placed on a baking tray and placed in the oven. Baking at precise temperatures ensures that the clay hardens and becomes durable, ready to withstand daily wear.

  7. Cooling and FinishingOnce baked, the jewelry components are allowed to cool completely before handling. After cooling, any rough edges are smoothed out, and a protective varnish may be applied to add a glossy finish and protect the clay from wear and tear.

  8. AssemblyFinally, the individual components are assembled into the final jewelry piece. Whether it's a necklace, bracelet, earrings, or pendant, each piece is carefully crafted to ensure that it meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

  9. Quality InspectionBefore being packaged and shipped to our customers, each piece undergoes a thorough quality inspection. We examine every detail to ensure that our jewellery meets our exacting standards and exceeds our customers' expectations.

  10. Delighting CustomersThe final step in our process is the most rewarding – delighting our customers with beautiful, handcrafted jewellery that they'll cherish for years to come. We take pride in knowing that each piece we create brings joy and beauty into the lives of those who wear it.

Thank you for joining us on this journey through the creation of our polymer clay art jewellery. We hope you'll enjoy wearing our creations as much as we enjoyed making them!
